Ben’s Reel Service DOES NOT service reels the customer has tried to repair themselves and couldn’t get it back together. More often than not, no matter how careful the customer is, there is usually something missing. It is very important for us to inspect and note the order and orientation of the parts as we disassemble the reel for service. Failing to do so, it takes additional time to diagnose the issue. So we have made the decision not to work on customer-disassembled reels at this time.
